Spherical roller bearings are principally provided with two rows of symmetrical spherical rollers and a common sphere raceway in outer ring. The two inner ring raceways are included at an angle to the bearing axial. The bearings have good self-aligning ability and can operate when the shaft deflection under load or the shaft misalignment in mounting, and their permissible aligning angle is 1 to 2.5 degree. This type of bearings has heavy load carrying capacity and anti-impact ability. In addition to radial loads, they also can carry axial loads in two directions. In general, bearings of this type permit a low limiting speed.
TIK spherical roller bearing has cylindrical and tapered bore types available. The tapered bore angle for 240 & 241 series are 1:30 (bearing no. with suffix K30), while for others are 1:12 (bearing no. with suffix K).
Brass or pressed steel cages can be provided upon request.
Bearing with suffix "W33" indicates there are lubricating groove and 3 lubricating holes on the outer ring.
